The curves of our roots turn into flowers; the Çiçek Hattı brings the steady stroke of patience and the flow of today together on the same stage.
We magnified the repeating curvilinear motion found in archival calligraphy exercises and layered them with watercolor stains, placing clusters of flowers at the peaks of the curves. Thus, while the eye follows the line, it pauses and catches its breath on the flowers; contrasts of warm–cool and light–dark govern the rhythm. The border adds an elegant “frame” to this flow. Each color is connected to a city moment: shore, pier, late afternoon, Sunday morning.
